Early life
Hanae was born on June 26, 1988 in Tokyo prefecture of Japan. When he was in kindergarten, he played The Nutcracker Prince and Cinderella’s father due to being tall among his classmates. In elementary school, he joined the brass band club and played the tuba which led him to develop an interest in music.
In high school, he participated in many stage plays such as Rurouni Kenshin where he played Shishio Makoto. During that time is when he realized his dream of becoming a voice actor.

After graduating from high school, Hanae attended Senzoku Gakuen College of Music where he majored in Voice Acting Studies department . It was there that he made his professional debut as a narrator for NHK Radio 1’s program All Night Nippon Super Fresh!.
